When a braced or unbraced frame has low slenderness so that ratio between elastic buckling and acting load is greater than or equal to 10, then EC3 allows the moments and axial forces in the frame to be determined using a first order elastic analysis of the frame with all the equivalent imperfections or fictitious forces ignored.
